Algeria to evacuate Libyan students from China’s Wuhan city

The Libyan Foreign Ministry of the Government of National Accord (GNA) has announced that Algeria is coordinating with it to evacuate the Libyan students in China’s Wuhan city on board the Algerian planes that are tasked with evacuating the Algerian nationals from China.

The Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Sunday that it had coordinated with the Algerian authorities for the evacuation of the Libyan nationals.

The statement added that the Libyan students who are staying in Wuhan – where the Coronavirus has spread first in China – are six, one of whom is with his wife and another chose not to return.

The GNA’s Foreign Ministry added that the Libyan students will be sent to Libya in coordination with the Libyan embassy in Algiers.
