EgyptAir flight lands in Athens instead of Benghazi due to bad weather

EgyptAir said that bad weather conditions led Saturday to changing its plane route and landing at Athens International Airport instead of Benina Airport in Libya’s Benghazi.

EgyptAir added in a statement that its flight (No. MS829) on board a (B737-800) plane, which was heading from Cairo International Airport to Benina International Airport in Benghazi with 111 passengers on board, changed its route and landed at Athens International Airport due to the lack of visibility because of dust, and the difficulty of landing at the airport.
