Reports reveal the involvement of Haftar and Wagner in supporting the Rapid Support Forces in Sudan

The German Institute for Global and Regional Studies has reported the smuggling of fuel and weapons through Libya and other countries to the Rapid Support Forces in Sudan.

The institute added in its report on the war in Sudan, that since April 2023, the Wagner Group has transferred man-portable air defense systems and ammunition to the Rapid Support Forces from Libya, the Central African Republic, and Chad.

The institute pointed out that Haftar supplied these forces with fuel and weapons through air and land bases, especially the Al-Weig base near the borders with Chad and Niger, where he commands several brigades that transport fuel and medical and logistical equipment in cooperation with Wagner, according to the institute.
