The Joint Operations Force has mobilized all its members and supporting forces to head to the force headquarters with their equipment and gear.
This measure comes immediately after the issuance of directives by Deputy Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Salah Al-Mangoush to army units to raise the level of readiness to repel any potential attack, according to a military source from the General Staff.
On Wednesday, Haftar’s forces announced the movement of military forces affiliated with them to the southwestern regions of Libya. The Ground Forces headed by his son Saddam said that this came within a comprehensive plan to secure the southern borders, according to its allegations.
Meanwhile, the 17th Border Guards Battalion confirmed the presence of “foreign military” movements in the region. The Battalion also announced its readiness to deal with any forces or military movements within its scope.
Special sources told Al-Ahrar that the military movements are targeting the (Ghadames-Al-Dabdab) border crossing with Algeria.
