The Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu said Ankara had sent a number of military advisers to Tripoli and won’t send any more as long as the ceasefire is holding.
Çavuşoğlu told German newspaper Bild that the acceptance of all parties of the conclusions of the Berlin conference is a new beginning for resolving the crisis in Libya, adding that the Libyan parties should commit to the ceasefire on the ground.
He added that the Head of the Presidential Council of the Government of National Accord Fayez Al-Sarraj had agreed on the final statement of the Berlin conference and its annex that says all stakeholders must abstain from sending troops to Libya if the ceasefire continued to hold.
