Doctors Without Borders: Around 80 migrants off the Libyan coast were rescued

Doctors Without Borders declared that it rescued around 80 irregular migrants during two separate operations off the Libyan coast.

The organization confirmed that two migrants were killed while 3 others were missing, noting that it had rescued 60 migrants in one operation who were on a rubber boat about to sink off the coast of Libya.

Doctors Without Borders added that it rescued 19 other migrants from an abandoned Tunisian offshore oil platform near Libya, who swam to it after water began leaking into the boat they were on.
