The Libyan Interior Ministry said it had unearthed a mass grave near Al-Zaytouni Mosque in Al-Sadiya in southern Tripoli for a family of four members, including two children, whose bodies were all decomposed.
The Ministry said the discovery of the mass grave came after a report by Red Crescent office of Zintan to Al-Aziziya Public Prosecution.
The Libyan Interior condemned this crime and said the investigation apparatus is working to find the perpetrators and bring them to justice.
Meanwhile, the media adviser to Libya’s Health Ministry Ameen Al-Hashimi said the family was reported missing last October after they had been caught up in gunfire of Haftar’s militias who were launching attacks in their area.
