The media office of the “Tete Desert Rally Waddan 2024” confirmed that four participants were injured in an explosion of remnants of war, adding that the accident occurred off the paved road, 15 km from the rally camp, where the participants entered a restricted area next to a security checkpoint on the main road.
The media office reassured the families of the four participants that they were fine and their health was stable, saying that they were receiving the necessary medical care at Waddan General Hospital.
It also said that the four injured participants would be transferred to Tripoli by air ambulance for more medical attention.
