The Head of the Presidential Council Mohammed Menfi discussed on Friday evening with Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, “a number of bilateral files.”
The meeting came on the sidelines of Menfi’s visit to Algeria, where he attended, along with a number of presidents, leaders and senior officials, the military parade of the Algerian army coinciding with the 70th anniversary of the outbreak of the Liberation Revolution.
Menfi’s media office explained, in a brief statement, that his meeting with Tebboune came to “coordinate and consult on common issues,” without clarifying the nature of these issues.
Menfi arrived in Algeria on Friday to participate in the 70th anniversary of the outbreak of the Liberation Revolution.
Menfi’s participation came in response to an official invitation from Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, according to a statement issued by Menfi’s media office.
