The President of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Menfi, said that progress in Libya has enabled international companies in the energy fields to resume their activities in the country.
During his speech at the Gas Exporting Countries Forum held in Algeria, Menfi revealed a plan in preparation to launch a new round of exploration licenses for oil and gas on land and marine areas in Libya to enhance production.
Menfi also indicated that Libya plans to launch major projects to increase natural gas production capacity during the year 2024.
Menfi also affirmed in his speech Libya’s commitment to the goals of the Oil and Gas Exporting Countries Forum.
