The crisis committee of the Libyan Foreign Ministry has called on all Libyan nationals abroad to fill out personal data forms on a special website so that the embassies and consulates can contact them once a repatriation plan is put in place.
The committee said in a statement that the Foreign Ministry is coordinating with concerned authorities in the country in order to fly Libyans back home once the necessary measures to avoid Coronavirus outbreak are finalized.
The statement said that this step is taken to reassure the stranded Libyans overseas that their problem will be solved, knowing that they had been lodged in hotels and given pocket money as they remain in different countries.
