Libya’s GNA forces advance on several frontlines in southern Tripoli, Burawi tells Alahrar

The Head of the Operations and Control Room Salim Burawi has told Libya Alahrar TV that the forces under the command of the Government of National Accord (GNA) have advanced on several frontlines in southern Tripoli in line with launching artillery attacks on Khalifa Haftar’s forces.

Meanwhile on Wednesday, the commander of Ain Zara frontline Yousif Al-Ameen said GNA forces had advanced in the district after carrying out an attack against Haftar’s forces using heavy artillery shelling and mortar rockets.

Al-Ameen added that the attack by Burkan Al-Ghadab (Volcano of Rage) Operation against Haftar’s forces came as part of the plans outlined by the GNA in its quest to repel the offensive against Tripoli.
