The Libyan Prime Minister, Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, has discussed with the Turkish ambassador to the country, Kenan Yılmaz, the latest developments on the political and economic levels, as well as the necessary mechanisms for facilitating the issuing of visas for Libyans travelling to Türkiye.
The meeting, which was held in Tripoli on Wednesday, saw discussions on the possible return of Turkish Airlines to operate flights between the two countries.
According to a statement by the Government of National Unity (GNU), the Turkish ambassador reiterated Ankara’s readiness to end all entanglements facing the resumption of flights by Turkish Airlines to and from Libya, stressing his country’s keenness on developing joint strategic relations.
