Sousse: About 20 people have been missing since the floods last September

Mayor of Sousse Municipality, Wael Brik, reported that about 20 people are still missing since the torrents and floods that swept the municipality last September.

Brik explained that the city’s infrastructure has completely collapsed, and life is only half normal there at the moment.

Brik also pointed out that there are still more than 100 homeless families due to the floods, who are still being hosted by their relatives.

Brik pointed out that the shedding of electricity loads continues in the municipality of Sousse and other areas, stressing that the water desalination plant has not undergone any maintenance after it was severely damaged and that they are still facing many challenges.
