Top-level negotiations taking place in Libya’s Tripoli

Libya’s capital Tripoli has been the seen of rapid diplomatic and top-level foreign officials’ arrivals this morning.

According to the correspondent of Libya Alahrar, so far on Monday morning, three high ranking foreign delegations arrived in Tripoli’s Mitiga airport to meet with the Libyan Government of National Accord’s officials.

The Defense Minister of Qatar Khalid bin Mohammad Al Attiyah has arrived in Tripoli and is followed by the Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar and the German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas.

No details have so far been given by the Government of National Accord about the nature of the visit, but given the status quo, Sirte and Jufra as well as the oil blockade and foreign mercenaries’ presence with top the talks.
