Trial of Gaddafi’s spy chief Al-Senussi postponed to 1 December

The legal advisor to the Abu Salim Massacre Association, Mustafa Al-Majdoub, reported that the trial of the Head of Intelligence Agency during the Gaddafi regime, Abdullah Al-Senussi, had been postponed until 1 December.

Al-Majdoub added in a statement to Libya Al-Ahrar TV channel that Sunday’s trial session had witnessed the presence of Al-Senussi and other defendants for the first time. He explained that the were present via satellite (closed videoconference).

Al-Majdoub explained that the judge had approved Abdullah Al-Senussi’s request to meet with his lawyer and talk to him. He said that Al-Senussi had requested that all 86 defendants, most of whom are abroad, be brought in, with the exception of four defendants who are in detention.
