A security source has confirmed that Libyan hunters have been killed on the border between Libya and Egypt after bring directly targeted by Egyptian fighter aircraft.
The source told Libya Alahrar TV that the two hunters from Tobruk city in eastern Libya had been out of reach before their bodies were found in Jaghbub desert near Egypt’s border with Libya.
The source indicated that the hunters approached the Egyptian side of the border by mistake despite setting up their tent on Libyan soil.
The source also explained that this isn’t the first time Egyptian aircraft target Libyan hunters and citizens as it has before targeted 4X4 cars on the border.
