Security authorities in Libya have announced the voluntary deportation of 960 irregular immigrants to their countries, who were held at the Al-Sikka Center in Tripoli.
The authorities added in a briefing that the deportees’ nationalities were Nigerian and Egyptian and that they would be deported to their countries in cooperation with the International Organization for Migration (IOM).
It was also announced that other migrants from Burkina Faso are expected to be deported at the end of the week.
