The UN Security Council has granted a humanitarian travel authorization that is valid for six months to Muammar Gaddafi’s widow, Safia Farkash, in addition to Gaddafi’s son Mohammed and daughter Aisha.
A statement by the United Nations indicated that the travel permit begins on June 1st and ends on November 30th of this year.
The UN Security Council said that under this resolution, Safia Farkash and her son and daughter are entitled to make unlimited trips for humanitarian purposes, provided that the countries they are visiting notify the Security Council of their arrival within 48 hours.
