The Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar said the development of Turkish reactions with Egypt would be helpful for the ongoing relations and cooperation with Libya, saying this development is happily received by some while others are sacred by it.
The Turkish Defense Minister accused Greece of seeking to cancel the country’s 2019 maritime demarcation accord with Libya in the eastern Mediterranean, saying certain countries, especially Greece, have undertaken some provocative moves against the current Libyan Government of National Unity over the deal.
Akar added in an address to the country’s special forces in Ankara that Turkey and Libya had recently affirmed their commitment to the maritime agreement, and discussed the issue around it, agreeing on everything
