The Chargé d’affaires of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Government of National Unity, Al-Taher Al-Baour, said that the international system has failed miserably in stopping the aggression against the Palestinians.
This came during his participation in a session on condemning the Israeli occupation’s violations against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, in the presence of several foreign ministers from Arab and Islamic countries.
Al-Baour stressed Libya’s position rejecting the forced displacement of Palestinians from their land, calling for an immediate halt to the ongoing aggression. Al-Baour also called on all free people in the world to put pressure on their governments for an immediate ceasefire and the urgent entry of humanitarian aid.
Over the past few days, the Israeli occupation has escalated its aggression against various occupied territories, including the escalation taking place in the Gaza Strip.
