Civilian wounded in renewed shelling by Haftar’s militias on Tripoli neighborhoods

Libya Alahrar TV correspondent in Tripoli has reported that one person is injured in Abu Salim as Khalifa Haftar’s militias have targeted the area with indiscriminate shelling.

The correspondent said three rockets fell on Shibani St. in Abu Salim, leaving damages in three houses and tens of cars.

Meanwhile, the spokesman for the Libyan Health Ministry Fawzi Awnis said one civilian was killed after sustaining injuries from Khalifa Haftar militias’ shelling on Al-Krimiya in southern Tripoli, adding that one woman was also injured by the shelling.

On last Tuesday, The field and support medical center announced that four children died due to the shelling of Haftar’s militias on Al-Hadba in southern Tripoli.

The four children were aged between 9 and 12 years old. They were killed as a shell fired by Haftar’s militias fell outside their house in Al-Hadba and another shell fell outside a school in the same area.

In a statement on last Monday, the Presidential Council said Haftar’s militias had targeted Mitiga Airport, Souq Al-Jumua and Arada, in addition to attacking Abu Grein, Al-Wishka and Gaddahiya in western Sirte, in what has become continuous breaches of the ceasefire.
