Dbeibah authorizes exceptions to the Ministry of Health

Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dbeibah granted exceptional authority to the Ministry of Health to conclude contracts to employ collaborators from medical and paramedical personnel, provided that they are within the limits of the actual needs of its centers.

In a letter addressed to the Acting Minister of Health, the Prime Minister called for the necessity of limiting these contractual procedures to the approved financial requirements.

For its part, the Ministry, through its Undersecretary for Hospital Affairs, circulated to the heads and directors of hospitals and medical centers the contracting permission, provided that it is approved by the Ministry’s Medical Services Department and per the needs and performance assessments.

In its annual report, the Audit Bureau called on all institutions and ministries not to renew the contracts of collaborators, regardless of the nature of their work, as of the beginning of this year, and to cover the deficit in several jobs and tasks through transfers and secondments.
