Erdogan receives Libyan PM in Ankara

The Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has received the Libyan Prime Minister, Abdul-Hamid Dbeibah, at the Presidential Complex in Beştepe, Ankara.

Erdogan received Dbeibah and the accompanying delegation of Foreign and Interior Ministers as well as 12 other ministers in a formal ceremony at the Presidential Complex in Ankara.

The visit is the third for Dbeibah outside Libya this month as the Prime Minister of the Libyan Government of National Unity. He first went to Kuwait and then to the UAE before arriving in Turkey to discuss bilateral relations.

The meetings in Ankara will include convening the Libyan-Turkish Strategic Council that was established in 2014 by the two countries.
