The Greek Foreign Minister, Nikos Dendias, has reaffirmed to the Head of the Libyan Presidential Council, Mohammed Menfi, Greece’s support for Libya and readiness to boost cooperation in areas of joint interest.
These remarks came in a meeting between Menfi and Dendias at the Libyan embassy in Athens, where Menfi has been on a formal visit for over four days.
Dendias said that Greece will be organizing an iftar event for the Libyan Foreign Minister Najla Al-Mangoush with the European Union’s Foreign Ministers.
Meanwhile, Menfi hailed Greece’s support for the Libyan political process and reiterated the importance of joint cooperation in different fields, praising as well the results of his discussions with Greek officials over the last days, according to the media office of the Presidential Council.
