Libyan Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah discussed with a high-ranking Egyptian delegation from the Egyptian intelligence agency the results of the work of the Libyan-Egyptian committee, which was launched two years ago.
According to the media office of the Government of National Unity (GNU), the two sides discussed the steps taken by Cairo to facilitate the granting of visas to Libyans, and joint coordination in several files linking the two countries.
The delegation also discussed the file of launching the projects implemented by the consortium of Egyptian companies after taking over the business sites, completing the employment procedures and equipping their headquarters.
It’s worth noting that relations between Cairo and the GUN witnessed some tension after the House of Representatives had assigned a new government headed by Fathi Bashagha to replace Dbeibah and the GNU.
