The CEO of Italian oil giant, Eni, Claudio Descalzi, has reviewed with the Libyan Prime Minister, Abdul-Hamid Dbeibah, the company’s plans and strategies for investments in Libya by supporting the health sector and meeting the energy demands in the local market.
The CEO of Eni and Chairman of Libya’s National Oil Corporation, Mustafa Sanalla, who attended the meeting in Tripoli, discussed the plans in Tripoli as the former reiterated commitment to the investments, with focus on natural gas to meet the local demand, according to the Italian newspaper, Formiche.
Formiche said Eni was working on increasing Libyan gas production, improving access to electricity for distant communities and installing renewable energy projects.
