Libyan PM, NOC’s Chairman review increasing oil output to 2 million bpd

The Libyan Prime Minister, Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, has discussed with the Chairman of the National Oil Corporation (NOC), Farhat Bengdara, the NOC’s plan to increase oil production to two million barrels per day (bpd), in addition to increasing gas production.

Dbeibah and Bengdara met in Tripoli last Thursday and reviewed as well the continuous support of the Government of National Unity (GNU) to the NOC so that the latter could operate in a stable environment.

NOC’s development plan is based on increasing oil and gas production, carrying out periodic maintenance and creating a suitable environment for executing the plan, which according to the NOC, aims to raise oil production to 2.1 million bpd by 2025.
