The Prime Minister-elect of the Libyan Interim Government (Government of National Unity), Abdul-Hamid Dbeibah, has met with the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya (CBL), Al-Siddiq Al-Kabir, in Tripoli.
Dbeibah and Al-Kabir discussed Sunday exerting more efforts to ensure financial and monetary stability as well as the unification of state institutions in Libya.
The meeting between Dbeibah and Al-Kabir came after the former announced that he had started the process of selecting his cabinet ahead of presenting it to the House of Representatives for a confidence vote.
Dbeibah said on Twitter that selecting the interim government incumbents would be thoroughly based on qualifications, keeping in mind the need for diversity and inclusiveness.
According to the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum’s regulations, Dbeibah has 21 days that started on February 05 to present his cabinet to the House of Representatives for a vote of confidence. If the House of Representatives didn’t approve it, the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum would take up the endorsement task.
