NOC Chairman keeps job as Libyan PM tackles rift with Oil Minister

The Libyan Prime Minister, Abdul-Hamid Dbeibah, has instructed oil officials to tackle the issues presented by the Oil Minister, Mohammed Oun, and National Oil Corporation (NOC), Mustafa Sanalla, to avoid such challenges between the Oil Ministry and the NOC in the future, thus keeping Sanalla as Chairman of the NOC.

Dbeibah’s remarks came in a meeting on Sunday in Tripoli with Sanalla and Oun to discuss the issues of the oil sector in the presence of State Minister for Prime Minister Affairs Adel Jumua and the Deputy Minister of Oil Refaat Al-Abbar.

The Libyan Prime Minister told the officials that he wouldn’t allow administrative or technical hindrances to blockade oil production, listening to the remarks of the officials about the work mechanism and saying that measures should be based on wisdom when it comes to the oil sector.
