The Presidential Council (PC) announced Thursday the launching of an initiative to resolve the Libyan crisis through a consultative meeting for the three councils (PC, high Council of state and the house of Representatives).
The PC added in a statement that the initiative will be in coordination with the UN envoy, Abdoulaye Bathily, and aim to prepare for a constitutional dialogue as a priority to end the transitional periods. It also indicated that the initiative will include the proposals, ideas and visions made by national parties and forces to the Presidency Council.
The Head of the High Council of State, Khalid Al-Mishri, announced on Wednesday the suspension of communication and the work of the joint committees with the House of Representatives until the supreme constitutional court’s law approved by the HoR is revoked.
