The Speaker of House of Representatives (HoR), Aqila Saleh, discussed in Doha with the Prime Minister of Qatar, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani bilateral relations.
Saleh arrived in Qatar on Monday upon an invitation from the Qatari Shura Council. This is Saleh’s second official visit to Doha.
The Qatari Prime Minister reiterated to Saleh Doha’s steady position in support of the unity and stability of Libya as well as the achievement of the desires of the Libyan people for security and development. He also stressed Doha’s support for the Libyan political process and pertaining Security Council resolutions.
Saleh visited Qatar in September 2022. He discussed at the time with the Qatari Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani the situation in Libya, regional and international issues, in addition to boosting bilateral cooperation.
