Turkey: Our advisors cannot be made equal with mercenaries in Libya

Turkish Foreign Ministry said Friday that it had stressed at Berlin II Conference on Libya that it wouldn’t allow equalizing its advisors and training teams in Libya to the soldiers of fortune in there.

In a press conference for the spokesman for the Turkish Foreign Minister, Tanju Bilgiç, said Turkey had reached understandings at the Berlin II conference on Libya, according to Anadolu Agency.

Bilgiç expressed Turkish reservations about some points of the final statement of Berlin II Conference, saying those points are in discordance with the facts on the ground.

He reiterated that Turkey won’t allow regional and international arenas to ask questions about their advisors and training teams in Libya or equalizing them with the mercenaries in the country.
