The National Oil Corporation announced that the production of Libyan crude oil by the Harouge and Zueitina companies reached record levels during the year 2023.
The Corporation said that during the past year, Zueitina achieved 82% of its daily production target of 25.5 thousand barrels per day.
The company also revealed the start of its operation of blocks 103 and 74/29 in the Sirte Basin to increase and develop production.
Regarding Harouge Company, the Corporation stated that the company implemented projects that contributed to raising production to 41.4 thousand barrels per day, which is equivalent to 92% of the company’s daily target, despite the difficulties it faced.
The head of the National Oil Corporation, Farhat Bin Gudara, called for benefiting from the current year’s budget to develop approved projects and contribute to raising crude oil production rates.
