Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity (GNU), Abdulhamid Dbeibah, renewed the government’s rejection of the ongoing Israeli occupation aggression against the Gaza Strip.
This came during a meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister of the Palestinian Authority, Minister of Information, Nabil Abu Rudainah, on the sidelines of the celebrations of the 72nd anniversary of Libya’s independence.
The Prime Minister stressed the firm position of Libya and its people in support of the Palestinian cause over the past decades. Dbeibah and Abourdinah discussed the latest developments in the political situation in the occupied territories, and the mechanism for providing humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza.
The Prime Minister of GNU has called repeatedly for an immediate ceasefire and halt to the aggression against Gaza, accusing world powers of double standards in this regard.
