The Libyan National Center for Disease Control has annoucned that recovered patients from COVID-19 have reached 8.
The center said in a statement on Thursday that the Reference Laboratory in Tripoli had tested 19 new samples, all of which came negative.
It explained that the 19 samples included the first case registered in Misrata city and five of the people who were in close contact to him.
On last Sunday, the first recovery was announced in Libya and on Tuesday, the second recovery followed.
The total number of Coronavirus cases in Libya is 21, eight of whom have recovered and one has died.
