The President of the Presidential Council, Muhammad Menfi, and the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Libya, Khaled Al-Dosari, discussed the efforts of the UN mission in Libya and the Presidential Council to bring views closer between the concerned Libyan parties.
In Tuesday’s meeting, the two sides discussed the initiatives to reach elections and preserve Libya’s unity and sovereignty.
The ambassador conveyed the greetings of the Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and confirmation of his continued support for the Presidential Council in all its steps to reach a comprehensive political settlement that leads to elections as soon as possible.
