No orders to close Al-Khums, Misrata ports, says Libya’s Presidential Council

The Head of the Libyan Presidential Council Fayez Al-Sarraj has confirmed that there are no orders to shut down Misrata and Al-Khums ports of the Government of National Accord’s Transportation Ministry, which is the only entity recognized by the International Maritime Organization.

A statement by the Presidential Council said it would hold to account any party that threatens these ports or others across the country, adding that it had taken the necessary measures to secure the ports.
