Once again, Libyan HoR delays budget bill approval session

The Libyan House of Representatives (HoR) has once again delayed the session that is supposed to discuss passing the 2021 budget bill for the Government of National Unity and delayed deliberations for next Monday.

HoR spokesman, Abdullah Blehiq, called Tuesday on all members to attend the next session on Monday to discuss electing Libya president from the people directly and the distribution of electoral centers across the country, saying that the HoR is still consulting regarding the budget bill and the members will have their final say next Monday.

The Prime Minister, who attended the HoR session on Monday, left Tobruk on the same day and the rest of the Government of National Unity’s delegation left on Tuesday after the scheduled session was called off.
