Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity (GNU), Abdulhamid Dbeibah, signed a memorandum of understanding with Turkish Defense Minister Yaşar Guler on military cooperation and raising the efficiency of Libyan army units through specific training programs.
Following the signing of the memorandum on Friday in the Turkish city of Antalya, Dbeibah stressed that developing cooperation between the General Staff and the Turkish Ministry of Defense is a priority and of great importance, in addition to implementing advanced training programs to build the capacity of the Libyan army.
For his part, Guler praised the cooperation between his country and the Libyan government in the military and security field, noting that it is witnessing progress and organization in all aspects, emphasizing the importance of continuing this coordination between the two sides.
