The spokesman for Sirte-Jufra Operations Room Abdelhadi Drah said the air defenses of the Government of National Accord forces had downed a drone for Khalifa Haftar’s militias in Al-Wishka.
Drah said in a press briefing that GNA forces had destroyed military vehicles for Haftar’s militias as they attempted to advance on Alloud frontline in southern Abu Grein.
He also confirmed that several mercenaries fighting for Haftar’s militias had been killed, including the founder of Chaidan Opposition Labor Party Jadi Nakour, who was killed in airstrikes in Al-Wishka.
Drah said several civilians were injured last week in explosion of two civilian cars due to landmines planted by Haftar’s militias on the road linking Abu Grein to Jufra.
