The Libyan Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah discussed with the mayors of the municipalities of the west coast region the difficulties facing them in performing their duties to provide services to citizens.
According to Hokoometna platform, the mayors of the municipalities of Central Al-Zawiya, South Al-Zawiya, Sorman, Al-Mansheya, Regdaline, West Al-Zawiya, Zuwara, Al-Jadaida, Sabratha, Al-Ajilat, and Al-Jamil presented a number of problems, especially in the health and education sectors, in addition to the challenges of the security situation and supporting security directorates to perform their role in stabilizing municipalities and eliminating crime and smuggling.
The mayors also rejected the measures in place by illegal parties with the aim of provoking conflict and destabilizing security.
Dbeibah directed the ministries and executive agencies for setting a timetable for the projects being implemented in the municipalities of the west coast cities.
He stressed the need to focus on service projects, cooperate with the Ministries of Interior and Defense in their efforts to combat smuggling and crime, and continue communication with all parties to address all the difficulties facing the municipalities.
