The spokeswoman for the Libyan Presidential Council, Najwa Waheba, said the Head of the Council, Mohammed Menfi, will visit Greece this week upon an invitation from the Greek President Katerina Sakellaropoulou.
Waheba said the visit – the first for Menfi after becoming the Head of the Presidential Council – will include meetings with Greek officials to discuss boosting bilateral relations and the regional developments.
Meanwhile, the Greek Foreign Ministry said Minister Nikos Dendias will visit Benghazi on Monday and hold a meeting with the Libyan Deputy Prime Minister Hussein Al-Gotrani and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aqila Saleh.
