The Investigations Department of the Libyan Public Prosecutor’s Office has confirmed arresting two members linked to (ISIS) in Tahoura and Sidi Al-Masri districts in Tripoli.
The Investigations Department told Libya Alahrar TV Thursday that the apprehension operation was carried out under the supervision of the Public Prosecutor via the Joint Anti-Terrorism Operations Room in Misrata city, which – after investigations – managed to detain the two ISIS-linked members.
The Joint Anti-Terrorism Operations Room in Misrata announced on Wednesday that the two arrested men had been part of a six-member sleeper cell of ISIS who were recently detained.
