The Head of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Menfi, as Commander–in–Chief of the Armed Forces, discussed with the Commander of the Western Military Region, General Osama Juwaili, the military situation in the Western Region and the work progress there.
According to the Presidential Council, Menfi stressed his keenness to enhance stability through continuous coordination with the Chief of Staff per the directives and instructions issued in this regard.
Menfi also discussed with the Chief of Staff, General Muhammad Al-Haddad, several files and issues related to the activities and tasks of the Western Military Region. The Commander–in–Chief’s discussions with Al-Haddad took place in the presence of the Commander of the Western Military Region, Major General Osama Juwaili.
This was Juwaili’s first appearance in Tripoli since his affiliation with Fathi Bashagha who had attempted to depose Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dbeibah.
